It's hard to believe we're entering the final three months of the year. After what has felt like a whirlwind, I'm personally looking forward to slowing down a bit, reflecting, and enjoying this season.
In real estate, however, fall is still very active. Serious buyers and sellers are out there, and inventory remains extremely tight, with far more buyers actively looking than homes available for sale. I'm anticipating a strong finish to 2026 and continued momentum into 2027.
If you're considering a move next year, now is the perfect time to prepare. One simple tip: schedule your exterior photography in October. Fall foliage photographs beautifully, and those images can make all the difference.
If you'd like to talk about what your home may be worth or how to start preparing for a future sale, I'm always here for the conversation.
On My Table: Salt & Honey Café

Lines around the corner had me curious. One quick afternoon stop for matcha, and I was hooked. A little Sea Cliff discovery worth sharing.
My Latest Obsession: Japanese Quince
My go-to hostess gift. I light Japanese Quince when I walk in the door — its fragrance sets the mood and makes home feel instantly elevated.
Weekend Edit: A Few Good Men
I loved this movie when it first came out, and I'm excited to see it at Lincoln Center Theater. A night at the theater to look forward to!

On My Calendar This Month
Antiques, historic homes, and waterfront festivities — three ways to make the most of a beautiful fall month.
October 2nd – 4th: The Country Living Fair, Rhinebeck (Dutchess County Fairgrounds). Antiques, artisan finds, and workshops in the Hudson Valley. A lovely excuse for a fall day trip and a little treasure hunting.

Through mid-October: Historic House Tours. Joseph Lloyd Manor in Lloyd Harbor, Sherwood-Jayne House in East Setauket, the Custom House in Sag Harbor, and the Old Methodist Church in Cold Spring Harbor. Explore historic homes before the touring season ends — reserve your tour online.
October 17th – 18th: Oyster Fest, Oyster Bay. A favorite North Shore fall tradition: waterfront festivities, local food, entertainment, and a lively village atmosphere.
